Morning Musings in the Garden...

I love daffodils. They are such a simple, unpretentious little flower. They pop up the first sign of spring and bloom...and bloom...and bloom...They are perennials returning each year and they thrive on neglect. They are bulbs which technically need to be planted in the fall, pointy side up. However, I have been known to shovel up a patch of them and transplant them in the spring. Hmmm, beautiful and forgiving...my kind of flower. Grab a handful and say hi to your neighbor. Winter is almost over!
